Founder of Chimpre
Michael Lindell founded Chimpre on one belief: the way America buys and sells homes was built around listings, not people. In 2018, years before private listings became the industry's headline, he set out to rebuild it around the three people every sale depends on: the seller, the buyer and the agent who serves them.
Where it started
Before he was a REALTOR®, Michael worked alongside a real estate brokerage as a vendor. The broker urged him to get his license, and the brokerage offered to pay for it. He agreed on one condition he set for himself: he would not enter real estate to practice it the traditional way. He would enter it to change it, for buyers, for sellers and for the agents who serve them.
What he saw from the inside became the blueprint:
| What he saw | What it cost |
|---|---|
| Homes placed on the MLS and left to wait for an offer | Sellers paid every month the home sat: mortgage, taxes, insurance, utilities and upkeep, while the price slipped |
| Buyers touring 10, 20 or more homes, taking time off work and giving up weekends | Buyers lost time, money and momentum looking for the one home that fit |
| Agents photographing, scheduling and showing homes, often with little to show for it | Agents worked harder than the system allowed them to win |
What Chimpre changes
Chimpre replaces the waiting game with a direct introduction. A home is not posted and left to be discovered. It is introduced to the buyers who have already told their agents exactly what they want: where, at what price, with how much space, by when, and how they will pay for it.
| For | What changes |
|---|---|
| Sellers | Your home is introduced to buyers whose price, location, size and timing already line up with it, with each buyer's financing shown up front. Fewer weeks on the market means fewer months of carrying costs, and you see real interest before anything goes public. |
| Buyers | Instead of touring twenty homes, you are introduced to the ones that already fit what you asked for, including homes whose owners had not yet decided to list. |
| Agents | Every client, every deal, every deadline and every opportunity in one system, built to give every agent, from a first-year REALTOR® to a top producer, the operating power of a billion-dollar team. |
Picture it
A family is relocating from New York to Atlanta. Their agent adds them to Chimpre: the neighborhoods they want, their price range, four bedrooms, a move by spring, and their financing.
Across town, a homeowner has been thinking about selling but has not committed. Their agent adds the home to Chimpre. The fit is recognized immediately, and the two agents are introduced.
No home sat on a website waiting to be found. No family toured twenty houses. The right buyer and the right home found each other, and the agents took it from there.
Open by design
As parts of the industry build closed networks that only their own agents can enter, Chimpre is open to every agent at every brokerage. A home approved by its seller reaches buyers' agents across the market, not just inside one company.
Every seller approves before their home is shared. Every introduction happens agent to agent and is recorded. Every agent's clients remain that agent's clients, and Chimpre never markets to them.
A builder of companies that work for people
Michael builds companies that take cost and friction out of everyday life. Before Chimpre, he built Bill Pay of America to help households lower their utility bills. Chimpre applies the same conviction to the largest purchase most families will ever make.
Michael is a REALTOR® with eXp Realty, LLC in Georgia, Florida and Virginia, where he also leads a team of agents. He hosts The Michael Lindell Experience on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
What Chimpre stands for
| Principle | In practice |
|---|---|
| Sellers stay in control | No home is shared without the seller's signed approval, and the seller's agent decides when |
| Agent to agent | Every introduction happens between agents, and every introduction is recorded |
| Agents keep their clients | Agents who bring clients to Chimpre keep them, always |
| Facts over promises | Every number we publish is dated and sourced, and we never promise a result |
